01 About us

Trauma-informed, people-centered, community-led

WakeUp Health Organization is a registered non-profit organization committed to improving physical, mental, and emotional well-being through inclusive, accessible, and community-based health programs.

Our work focuses on supporting individuals and families affected by mental health challenges, autism, arthritis, disabilities, and substance use. We provide health education, recovery and rehabilitation services, promote gender identity awareness and health equity, strengthen community-based programs, and advance women’s health and emotional resilience.

WakeUp Health Organization also addresses broader community health needs, including autism support, arthritis wellness, disability services, youth well-being, maternal and elderly care, lifestyle disease prevention, sexual health education, and obesity prevention.

Through a trauma-informed, people-centered approach, we deliver community outreach, health education, supportive programs, and sustainable care initiatives. Our goal is to empower individuals, strengthen families, reduce barriers to health and wellness, and build healthier, more inclusive, and resilient communities across Canada.

02 Vision & mission

Care is not a privilege.
It is a right.

Two commitments shape everything we build — a picture of the future we are working toward, and the daily work that gets us there.

Our Vision

Thriving, connected communities

We envision thriving communities where accessible physical and mental health resources, multilingual education, meaningful social connections, preventive health practices, and specialized support for individuals and families affected by autism and arthritis empower everyone to live healthier, more dignified, and connected lives.

Our Mission

Accessible care, without barriers

WakeUp Health Organization exists to strengthen the physical, mental, and social well-being of underserved communities through accessible fitness and wellness programs, culturally responsive and multilingual health education, and specialized support for individuals and families affected by autism and arthritis. We create inclusive and supportive community spaces that reduce isolation, promote preventive health practices, foster meaningful connections, and empower individuals and families to lead healthier, more dignified, and connected lives.
